Formed in June 2025, The Park Group’s mission is to raise awareness and improve the facilities of Dr. Lena Edwards Park, with a focus on community, access, and the environment. We are dedicated to building a safe, inclusive park that families of all generations can enjoy!

Park Group performed a walk through with city councilmembers, highlighting conditions requiring attention

Park Group held it's first community program, a trunk-or-treat event!

Park Group conducted a Community Meeting to determine what playground designs the community wanted most

After over 30 years, new playgrounds have been constructed at the park!

New Splash Pads are also complete!

Through Hudson Gives, the Park Group raised over $1,600 to ceate Native Plants gardens in the Park. Coming Fall '26 and Spring '27!
